Kahunas has three plans, each tied to a client limit: Essentials is $35 for up to 25 clients, Growth is $69 for up to 50 clients, and Ultimate is $99 for unlimited clients. A coach pays more as the roster passes each limit.

CoachPilot's regular prices are also banded by client count. During founding pricing, though, every band costs the plan's 20-client price with unlimited clients: for Pro and for Ultimate. Coaches who join during founding pricing keep that price for as long as they stay subscribed.

Free plan and trial

Kahunas lists a 14-day trial and no free plan, so the cheapest way to keep using it after the trial is Essentials at $35 a month. CoachPilot's Free plan covers up to 5 active clients with no time limit, and its paid plans have a 14-day trial.

AI features

Kahunas' pricing page names one AI feature, "Health Score A.I" on Growth and Ultimate. CoachPilot's AI is aimed at the coach's planning work:

• Free: up to 5 active clients, with the meal planner, workout planner, messaging, scheduled check-ins and client onboarding.
• Pro: everything in Free, plus AI food swapping, so clients can swap a food while their calories and macros stay on plan.
• Ultimate: everything in Pro, plus the AI Copilot, an assistant that drafts meal and workout plans for you to review and summarizes client check-ins.

The AI Copilot drafts; the coach reviews and sends. CoachPilot is software a coach uses, not an AI coach for clients. Read more about the AI Copilot.

Branded apps

Kahunas' pricing page lists: Own branded iOS and Android apps with app-store listings on Ultimate ($99/mo). If your own name in the app stores is part of what you sell today, weigh that. CoachPilot clients use the CoachPilot web and mobile app.

Switching from Kahunas to CoachPilot

• Free migration. On a paid plan, send us your exports from Kahunas (or share access) and we move your clients, meal plans and workout programs into CoachPilot within 48 hours.
• Contract buyout. Still under contract with Kahunas? Join a paid plan during founding pricing, send us an invoice showing the time left, and CoachPilot is free for those months, up to 12.
• No commitment to reserve. CoachPilot opens on Dec 1, 2026. Reserving a spot before then takes no payment and no credit card.

The verdict

Choose Kahunas if

• you want branded iOS and Android apps and are happy on its Ultimate plan;
• you need to onboard clients before CoachPilot opens on Dec 1, 2026.

Choose CoachPilot if

• you want to start on a free plan and upgrade when it pays for itself;
• you expect your roster to grow and don't want the price to grow with it;
• you want an assistant that drafts meal plans and programs in your style.
